Papaya-Honey Face Mask:
1/4 cup Fresh Papaya
1 tbsp Raw Honey

Directions: Crush raw papaya into a pulpy paste with hands and mix in honey. Massage mask on to freshly cleansed skin. Allow the mask to sit for 10-20 minutes, and rinse off with cool water.

Using crushed raw papaya as a face mask is great for topically cleansing and clarifying your skin. The enzymes in the papaya break away dead skin cells on the surface, repair elastic collagen fibers, prevent the skin from forming wrinkles by tightening the skin’s collagen tissues, and help break up existing damage on the skin’s surface (including dark marks, sun spots, and freckles).

The minerals found in the papaya enter your skin topically and help support healthy skin regeneration (the making of new skin), resulting in a complexion that is more radiant, fresh, and youthful.

For this face mask, it’s best to use a papaya that is a little under-ripe. Why? Papayas that are less ripe have a higher enzyme content and increase the effectiveness of this face mask.

The honey thickens the mask’s consistency, and helps to further even your skin tone. Honey also has strong antibacterial properties that break up and kill any harmful bacterias living in your skin – making this mask great for anyone who suffers from chronic breakouts.

This mask is beneficial for all skin types, and can be done once a week.
